Your Itinerary
Leave your hotel at 0800 for your full day tour of Ho Chi Minh City, where culture, colour and commerce all combine in a vibrant, exciting and deeply historic mix. Head to Cholon, the city’s Chinatown district, to explore its bright and busy markets and shops. Also here you discover the Cantonese Thien Hau Pagoda, dedicated to the Goddess of the Sea. Next visit the FITO Museum, Vietnam’s first traditional medicine museum which displays an amazing collection of 3,000 items including tools used to prepare herbs, traditional medicine artefacts, ancient books and documents. Head back into the centre of the city to visit Ben Thanh Market and its wonderful displays of fresh produce. Simply stroll through the market and soak up the varied sights, sounds and aromas. The afternoon brings a chance to visit either the War Remnants Museum or History Museum (choose which one you would most like to see) and the former Presidential Palace. From there you can either stroll or jump aboard your waiting vehicle and make for the unmissable sights of colonial Ho Chi Minh City: the Old Saigon Post Office, Dong Khoi Street (formerly Rue Catinat), Continental Hotel, Opera House and City Hall, among others.
