There’s even an opportunity to scramble through the actual tunnels of Cu Chi.

Your Itinerary

Leaving Ho Chi Minh City behind at 0800, watch the landscape change as you head to Cu Chi. You’ll pass rice fields, sleepy settlements and villagers, farmers  and artisans at work. The famous Cu Chi Tunnels make up an astounding underground network constructed by the Viet Cong (Vietnamese resistance fighters) during both the French and American wars as a safe haven for themselves and the local villagers. Take time to reflect and imagine… How might it have felt to live, work and fight in this underground sanctuary? Get a feel for this tough and tragic time in the nation’s history: it’s a moving experience. In the late morning journey back to Ho Chi Minh City.
